In addition to serving patients, he offers professional training for his colleagues in the areas of periodontal plastic surgery, hard and soft tissue augmentation, and dental laser therapy.
Dr. Murphy graduated from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and achieved his periodontal certification from St. Louis University. A past president of the Ohio Periodontal Association, he is currently a Diplomate with the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery. He also holds membership in the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental Association.
A certified Sommelier and food fanatic, Dr. Murphy loves to create magic in the kitchen. He and his wife also enjoy experiencing new restaurants and traveling together. At home they share their lives with three beloved dogs who help them cheer on the Cubs and the Longhorns.
